摘  要:21世纪是环保的社会,建设节约型环保社会是未来几年的重大课题,环境保护的重要性不是哪个人的事情,而是全社会、全球性的问题。在与国际社会进行环保方面的交流时,涉及的一些环保宣传语的翻译问题逐步凸显出来,究其根源是文化介入的原因。翻译和文化密不可分,相互影响,相互作用。译者在进行翻译活动的过程中,必定要考虑到文化方面的因素。从文化介入的角度,研究环保宣传语的翻译,不仅能够进一步规范国内环保宣传语的翻译,而且能够促进国际社会在环保事物上更好地达成共识。

Cultural Involvement in English Translation of Environmental Protection Slogans
Abstract: The 21st century is a society of environmental protection. To build a resource-conserving, environment-friendly society is a significant task for years to come. The responsibility of environmental protection not only lies in the individual, but also in the whole society and the globe. While communicating with the international society from the aspect of environmental protection, some problems of translation concerning environmental protection slogan stand out gradually, resulting from the involvement of culture. Translation and culture are closely connected and interacted to each other. In the course of translating, cultural factors must be taken into consideration. This paper attempts to discuss the translation of environmental protection slogans from the aspect of cultural involvement, which will not only further standardize the translation of environmental protection slogan in our country, but also be benefit for the international community to reach a consensus.
