零售的本质是无时无刻地始终为消费者提供超出期望的内容,即商品满足消费者变化的需求和供应链效率这两个核心要素。零售业发展至今,商品在不断丰富,渠道在不断推陈出新,消费需求在不断改变,但是零售的本质不会变。然而,零售只是将商品直接出售给消费者的最后环节,要高效、要超出预期,则必须依赖于整个供应链的有效支持。零售企业主要是通过优异的供应链管理控制能力和适合的销售策略,实现低成本、高流量、高购买率、高回头率和高顾客忠诚度。部分市场表面上的低价策略,本质上体现的是强大的供应链管理和策划能力。随着互联网大数据的不断发展,通过线下门店的低成本流量引流至线上的APP,实现线上线下的融合,实现消费者信息数据化,可进行简单化的互联网管理。从客户、物流、支付、服务等数字一体化,提供个性化需求,使得供应链从之前的标准化和规模化逐步走向定制化和智能化。
