海尔集团是世界第四大白色家电制造商、中国最具价值品牌。旗下拥有240多家法人单位，在全球30多个国家建立本土化的设计中心、制造基地和贸易公司，全球员工总数超过五万人，重点发展科技、工业、贸易、金融四大支柱产业，已发展成为大规模的跨国企业集团，2006年海尔集团实现全球营业额1075亿元。为了提高企业的竞争力，开创一个企业化财务，物流，业务部门集成一体，商流，资金流，物流三流合一的高质量，高效率的信息化平台。海尔集团决定实施SAP项目。
SAP的实施主要包括项目准备，业务蓝图，项目实施，最后准备，上线支持等5个重大阶段。而在每一个阶段都是影响项目是否能够成功的关键因素。本篇论文也是以海尔集团实施SAP为例，对SAP的项目实施的整个过程以及每个阶段的基本工作重点和需要着重关注以及需要注意的地方做了一个简单的介绍。并对海尔业务中的几个比较典型的业务蓝图做了分析和讲解。最后，也针对这次海尔的MM的推广实施，做了项目总结和一些影响项目
